Legal document

Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern use of the Markaz Iqraa website and applications, accounts, educational services, bookings, payments, and Platform communication. Please read them before creating an account or booking.

Important summary

Creating an account or using the service means accepting these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Paid bookings follow the cancellation window shown during booking and refunds require review. This summary is for convenience; the full terms below control.

01

Scope and acceptance

These Terms apply to the website, applications, and digital educational services provided by Markaz Iqraa (the “Platform”). Using the Platform, creating an account, or booking confirms that you have read, understood, and accepted them.

If you act for a child or another person, you confirm legal authority to accept for them. If you disagree, do not create an account or use a paid service.

02

Eligibility and accounts

Provide accurate, current information and protect your password and verification methods. You are responsible for account activity and must report suspected unauthorized access promptly.

We may require email, phone, identity, qualification, or role verification. A teacher cannot teach until their application is complete, reviewed, and approved.

  • Do not share accounts or impersonate others.
  • Do not create accounts to evade restrictions or offer rules.
  • Minor accounts and guardian consent follow the Platform guardian flow and applicable law.
03

Educational services

The Platform offers Quranic and language programs, individual and group sessions, digital content, progress tools, and communication. The description, duration, price, session count, and requirements displayed at booking form part of the selected service.

Outcomes vary with attendance, practice, and level. No specific result or completion time is guaranteed unless a service expressly says so.

04

Teacher applications and approval

Applicants may need to provide qualifications, experience, documents, an interview, or a test. Applying does not guarantee acceptance or create employment.

Approval may be rejected, suspended, or withdrawn for inaccurate information or breaches of teaching or conduct standards. Payouts follow the agreement or policy shown in the teacher account.

05

Bookings and rescheduling

A booking is confirmed according to its displayed status after required acceptance and payment. Times use the saved time zone or device settings; check them before confirmation.

Rescheduling depends on booking status and teacher availability. An accepted booking may expire if payment is not completed within the displayed window.

06

Prices and payments

Prices, currency, taxes, and disclosed fees appear before payment. External providers may process payments; eligible mobile digital purchases may use Apple App Store or Google Play billing.

Markaz Iqraa does not store complete card details. Provider or store terms also apply. You are responsible for payment authorization and bank or issuer fees.

07

Cancellation and refunds

Unpaid bookings may be cancelled while their status allows. Paid cancellation requests must be submitted within the period shown in the booking flow or account. The current default is 24 hours and may change before booking; the displayed period controls.

A paid booking stays active until review and approval. On approval, future linked sessions are cancelled and the eligible amount is credited to the Platform wallet unless the payment channel, store rules, or law require another method. Late requests may be ineligible.

Teacher or centre cancellations are compensated according to booking status. Apple or Google purchases may require a store refund request and remain subject to its decision.

08

Live sessions and recording

Some sessions use third-party audio/video services, including Zoom Video SDK, and quality depends on the device and connection.

The Platform does not currently record sessions. Any future recording requires notice and required consents, including guardian consent where applicable. External recording or publishing without every participant’s express permission is prohibited.

09

Acceptable use and conduct

Use the Platform lawfully and treat students, teachers, and staff respectfully. Messages, assignments, and uploads may be reviewed following a report or for safety.

  • No harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual, or abusive material.
  • No spam, malicious links, security bypass, or unauthorized data access.
  • No copying, resale, or distribution of paid content, contact details, or sessions.
  • Users may report abuse and block others using available tools.
10

Content and intellectual property

The Platform, design, logos, and original materials belong to Markaz Iqraa or licensors. Purchase grants a limited, personal, non-transferable access right within the service scope.

You retain uploaded-content ownership and grant a limited licence to host, process, and display it to operate and secure the service. You confirm you have the right to upload it.

11

Privacy and data protection

The Privacy Policy explains collected data, purposes, providers, and account rights and forms part of these Terms.

We may process session, attendance, message, homework, payment, and device information to provide, secure, and support the service. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive data.

Read the Privacy Policy
12

Suspension and account deletion

You may request deletion in settings or on the account-deletion page. We may restrict, suspend, or close accounts for breaches, security risks, misuse, or legal duties, subject to financial rights and law.

Closure does not erase earlier obligations. Records needed for accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, and compliance may be retained under the Privacy Policy.

13

Availability and liability

Maintenance, failures, third parties, or events beyond reasonable control may interrupt the Platform; we will use reasonable efforts to restore it.

Services are not personal religious rulings, medical or legal advice, or a promise of official certification unless stated. Where lawful, liability is limited to proven direct loss connected to the disputed service.

14

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as services or operational or legal requirements change. We will show the date and appropriately notify material changes. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance where lawful.

15

Disputes and applicable law

Contact support first to seek an informal resolution. Mandatory rules, applicable law, and competent courts then apply according to the provider’s establishment and non-waivable consumer rights at the user’s residence.

If one term is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue.

16
